リッチな甘みとフルーティーさ、そして程よいスパイス感が調和した、上品で複雑な味わいが特徴です。
香味の特徴色 (Color)べっ甲色。
香り (Nose)は、甘いバニラやあんず、メロン、黄桃などのリッチな果実香が豊かに広がります。
フレッシュなミントやレモングラの爽やかなニュアンスも感じられます。
味わい (Taste)は、リッチな甘みが口いっぱいに広がり、クローブ（丁子）のようなスパイシーさ、
紅茶、そしてみかんや**ニッキ（シナモン）**の複雑な風味が層をなします。
余韻 (Finish)は、程よいオーキー（樽香）さと共に、リッチな果実香が長く持続します。
やわらかでビターな余韻が全体を引き締めます。
コンセプトと製法
「嘉之助 DOUBLE DISTILLERY」は、鹿児島・日置の地にある嘉之助蒸溜所と、
焼酎造りを行う日置（ひおき）蒸溜蔵という、個性の異なるふたつの自社蒸溜所で造られた原酒を
ブレンド（ヴァッティング）した、非常にユニークなジャパニーズウイスキーです。
2つの蒸溜所
嘉之助蒸溜所 3基のポットスチル（銅製蒸留器）を駆使して造るシングルモルトウイスキー。
日置蒸溜蔵 単式蒸留器（ステンレス製）で蒸留される、大麦を主原料とするグレーンウイスキー（HIOKI POT STILL）。
熟成樽 小正醸造の原点である樽熟成焼酎「メローコヅル」で使用された焼酎リチャー樽に加え、
アメリカンホワイトオーク新樽、バーボン樽など、多様な樽で熟成されます。
ブレンド 際立つ2つの個性を互いに引き立たせるよう、ブレンダーが絶妙な配合でブレンドすることにより、
「ブレンドの概念を超越したウイスキー」という世界観を表現しています。

Concept and Production Method
‘Kanosuke DOUBLE DISTILLERY’ is a highly unique Japanese whisky,
blended (vatted) from spirit produced at two distinct in-house distilleries:
Kanosuke Distillery in Hioki, Kagoshima, and Hioki Distillery, which produces sh??ch??.
Two Distilleries
Kanosuke Distillery: Single malt whisky crafted using three copper pot stills.
Hioki Distillery: Grain whisky (HIOKI POT STILL) distilled in a single-column stainless steel still, primarily using barley.
Maturation Casks: Matured in a diverse range of casks, including shochu re-charred casks previously used for “Mellow Kozuru” – the barrel-aged shochu that represents the origins of Komasa Brewery – alongside new American white oak casks and bourbon casks.
Blending: The blender achieves an exquisite blend that allows the two distinct personalities to complement each other, expressing a worldview of a whisky that transcends the concept of blending.
